{"id":347,"date":"2019-05-15T13:36:05","date_gmt":"2019-05-15T11:36:05","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/dance-on.net\/en\/?page_id=347"},"modified":"2026-03-10T11:04:57","modified_gmt":"2026-03-10T10:04:57","slug":"team","status":"publish","type":"page","link":"https:\/\/dance-on.net\/en\/about-us\/team\/","title":{"rendered":"Team"},"content":{"rendered":"<p><strong>Madeline Ritter<br \/>\n<\/strong><em>Artistic and Executive Director Bureau Ritter\u00a0<\/em><br \/>\nMadeline Ritter is a fully qualified lawyer with a professional focus on copyright law. She founded tanz performance k\u00f6ln, an international production and performance platform for contemporary dance in 1989 and was its artistic director and managing director until 2004.<\/p>\n<div class=\"more-block\">\n<p>She has initiated many European networks, been the director of inter-disciplinary festivals and produced international co-productions in the field of dance, media and performance art. From 1993 to 1998, she was the founding and artistic director of Pictures of (e)Motion, an international festival for dance, film and new media at the Kunst- und Ausstellungshalle der Bundesrepublik Deutschland in Bonn. She was curator of the dance programme at Theater Heilbronn from 2003 to 2008. She was appointed project director of Tanzplan Deutschland by the German Kulturstiftung des Bundes (Federal Cultural Foundation) in 2004. Her many years of experience of working with artists, institutions and sponsors formed the basis of a partnership-based promotional strategy that was rolled out, under her guidance, in nine cities and with the support of many project partners. Tanzplan Deutschland mobilised 21 million euros for dance and became a model project internationally. When the Tanzplan Deutschland project came to an end in 2011, she founded the non-for-profit company DIEHL+RITTER (now Bureau Ritter) with Ingo Diehl in order to manage, among other initiatives, the Kulturstiftung des Bundes new dance funds: TANZFONDS ERBE (Dance Heritage Fund) and TANZFONDS PARTNER (Dance Partners Fund). She teaches culture management at various European universities and is a certified coach and facilitator of processes of change. Madeline Ritter is an expert of <a href=\"http:\/\/tanzforderung.de\/konzept-tanzfoerderung-stadt-land-bund\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">Initiativegroup Tanzf\u00f6rderung Stadt-Land-Bund<\/a> as well as a member of the Supervisory Board of Kulturfabrik Kampnagel in Hamburg, the board of trustees of the Kulturfonds (Cultural Fund) Frankfurt RheinMain, the Advisory Board of Deutsches Tanzarchiv K\u00f6ln and since June 2014 of the Board of Trustees of Pina Bausch Foundation.<em><br \/>\n<\/em><\/p>\n<\/div>\n<p><strong>Ty Boomershine<\/strong><br \/>\n<em>Artistic Director Dance On Ensemble\u00a0<\/em><br \/>\nTy Boomershine studied dance at the Fort Hayes School for the Performing Arts in Columbus, Ohio, completing his studies with a B.F.A. from Stephens College in Columbia, Missouri.<\/p>\n<div class=\"more-block\">\n<p>In addition to working with Lucinda Childs Dance, Emio Greco | PC, LeineRoebana, Dan Wagoner, Gus Solomons Jr., Bill T. Jones, Ton Simons and the Merce Cunningham Repertory Ensemble, he has also performed in various works by Yvonne Rainer, Dancenoise and in Robert Wilson\u2019s Einstein on the Beach. Since 2007, he has been Artistic Assistant to Lucinda Childs and since 2013 rehearsal director for ICKamsterdam. Ty Boomershine has been a member of the Dance On Ensemble since 2015 and is its Artistic Director since 2019.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n<p><strong>H\u00e9l\u00e8ne Philippot<br \/>\n<\/strong><em>Executive Producer On Ensemble<br \/>\n<\/em>H\u00e9l\u00e8ne Philippot studied musicology and music management at the Universit\u00e9 Paris IV Sorbonne and Universit\u00e4t der K\u00fcnste Berlin. From 2008 to 2012, she worked for a range of cultural organisations in France, including the Orchestre National d\u2019\u00cele-de-France, the festival Les Nuits du Mont Rome and the Op\u00e9ra National de Paris. Between 2013 and 2021, she worked for the Berliner Festspiele as production manager for international co-productions in the fields of circus and dance, as well as for the festival Jazzfest Berlin.<\/p>\n<div class=\"more-block\">\n<p>From 2019 to 2022, she worked as company manager for the choreographer Lea Moro in Berlin and Zurich. Since June 2021, H\u00e9l\u00e8ne has been responsible for the Dance On Ensemble founded by Bureau Ritter as Executive Producer. H\u00e9l\u00e8ne Philippot is constantly continuing her education. She took part in the Festival Production Management Training of the European Festivals Association from 2017 to 2018. In 2021, she completed the professional development course in business administration at the Technical University of Nuremberg and in 2024 she took part in the further education course \u2018Leadership &amp; Diversity in Cultural and Media Organisations\u2019 at the Erich Pommer Institute.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n<p><strong>Anastasia Luck<br \/>\n<\/strong><em>Senior Producer Dance On Ensemble<br \/>\n<\/em>Anastasia Luck studied art history and theatre studies at the FU Berlin and completed her master\u2019s degree in cultural and media management there in 2022. During her studies, she worked as a research assistant at the university\u2019s art history department, among other places. Several internships took her from the Gem\u00e4ldegalerie in Berlin to the Kunsthistorisches Institut in Florence.<\/p>\n<div class=\"more-block\">\n<p>Most recently, she worked at the Stasi Records Archive (Federal Archive) as a student assistant in the visitor services department. She first came to Bureau Ritter as an intern in 2015 and returned in June 2022 as a production and participation collaborator. She is now Senior Producer for the Dance On Ensemble.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n<p><strong>Laura B\u00f6ttinger<br \/>\n<\/strong><em>Project Director Care in Motion &amp; Artistic Directior Participation<br \/>\n<\/em>Laura B\u00f6ttinger studied classical dance at the MUK Music and Arts University in Vienna. There she was involved in the Dance Association \u2018Ich bin O.K.\u2019 for people with and without disabilities. She has worked as a dancer for the LUX Helsinki Festival, Kadir Amigo Memis (HAU Hebbel am Ufer) and Yolanda Gutierrez (Kampnagel, Kigali), among others. She has been part of the Bureau Ritter team since 2016: from 2016 to 2020, she worked first as a Production Assistant and later as Production Director of the Dance On Ensemble.<\/p>\n<div class=\"more-block\">\n<p>Since 2018, she has been the artistic director of the Dance On Participation programme and the Dance On Lab. Laura leads workshops and introductory talks and creates artistic stage works with community groups.<\/p>\n<p>In 2021, she developed the idea and concept for the participation format \u201cOut of the Care Home, Into the Theatre\u201d (Raus aus dem Heim, rein ins Theater), for which she is responsible programmatically. She is also the project lead for \u201cCare in Motion\u201d (Bewegte Pflege), a feasibility study on cultural participation in care homes.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n<p><strong>Tomke Behrmann<\/strong><br \/>\n<em>Project Coordinatior Care in Motion &amp; Dance On Participation<\/em><br \/>\nTomke Behrmann studied sociology and philosophy in Frankfurt am Main and Buenos Aires and completed a master\u2019s degree in critical dance studies at FU Berlin. During her studies, she worked at the Federal Association for the Independent Performing Arts (BFDK) on the pilot project \u201cVerbindung f\u00f6rdern\u201d (Fostering Connections), for nationwide and cross-disciplinary structural and network promotion.<\/p>\n<div class=\"more-block\">\n<p>She gained further experience in the cultural sector as a dresser at the English Theatre Frankfurt, as a student assistant to the international guest professorship in the Master\u2019s programme in Critical Dance Studies, as an intern at the Volksb\u00fchne am Rosa-Luxemburg-Platz and at Kulturprojekte Berlin, as part of the city partnership between Windhoek and Berlin. In November 2025, Tomke Behrmann joined Bureau Ritter as project coordinator for \u201cCare in Motion\u201d.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n<p><strong>Riccarda Herre<br \/>\n<\/strong><em>Consulting &amp; Concept development<br \/>\n<\/em>Riccarda Herre is part of the founding team of Bureau Ritter and coordinated, among others, the funding program TANZFONDS ERBE. In 2014, she developed the idea and concept for the DANCE ON initiative. Since 2017, she has been leading the funding programmes TANZPAKT Stadt-Land-Bund and TANZPAKT RECONNECT alongside Isabel Niederhagen. Both were instrumental in developing and launching the programmes.<\/p>\n<div class=\"more-block\">\n<p>Riccarda Herre completed her dance training at the ballet school of the Hamburg State Opera in 1987. She then worked as a soloist for various companies in Germany and abroad, including CIE Red Notes in Paris, the Volksb\u00fchne Berlin and the Tanztheater of the German National Theatre in Weimar. In 2004 she graduated from the Hamburg University of Music and Theatre as a culture and media manager and went on to work as a producer for various dance companies, theatres and festivals, including Tanz im August. During Tanzplan Deutschland she took on the organisation of the first Dance Education Biennale and then became a founding member of Bureau Ritter, where she coordinated the Dance Heritage Fund, among other projects.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n<p><strong>Christof M\u00fcller<\/strong><em style=\"line-height: 1.714285714; font-size: 1rem;\"><br \/>\n<\/em><em>Co-Director Financial Administration<\/em><br \/>\nChristof M\u00fcller studied geography and political sciences. He was subsequently employed as a project manager at the Institut f\u00fcr Europ\u00e4ische Politik and the Centre international de formation europ\u00e9enne, where he was responsible for projects under the Jean-Monnet Programme of the European Commission, DG Education and Culture.<\/p>\n<div class=\"more-block\">\n<p>From 2009 to 2013 he worked as an independent project and event manager for, e.g., Internet &amp; Society Collaboratory, Stiftung Menschen f\u00fcr Menschen, and Discover Football.\u00a0From 2013 to 2015 he oversaw the Dance Partners Fund and Dance Heritage Fund, both initiated by the German Federal Cultural Foundation, at sauerbrey | raabe. b\u00fcro f\u00fcr kulturelle angelegenheiten. From 2015 to 2019 he has been responsible for RomArchive\u2019s financial administration as well as contractual arangements and legal matters related to funding. He has been financial manager for Dance On since July 2019.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n<p><b>Esther Ningelgen<br \/>\n<\/b><em>Communications Director<br \/>\n<\/em>Esther Ningelgen studied Italian Literature and Modern German Literature in T\u00fcbingen, Berlin and Verona. After working as a freelance assistant director and project manager, she headed the public relations department of Theater RambaZamba in Berlin from 2011 and also temporarily acted as its deputy executive director. Among other projects, she initiated and led the theatre&#8217;s participation in the programme \u201cSTART \u2013 Youth Culture in Greece&#8221; by the Robert Bosch Foundation and the Federal Association of Socioculture.<\/p>\n<div class=\"more-block\">\n<p>From 2015 to 2017, she was co-director of Theater RambaZamba. She then moved to Schauspiel Leipzig, where she worked for five years as press spokesperson and head of public relations. She has been part of the team at Bureau Ritter since August 2022, responsible for communications with a specific focus on the Dance on Ensemble.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n<p><b>Pauline Lieben-Seutter<br \/>\n<\/b><em>Assitant to Communications Director<br \/>\n<\/em>Pauline Lieben-Seutter studied cultural studies at Leuphana University in L\u00fcneburg. She then began training in graphic design at Lette Verein Berlin, graduating in 2024. She gained experience in event organization and communication through several projects in the arts and culture sector, for example as a host at FREIRAUM at MK&amp;G Hamburg and as a production assistant at the UM Festival for contemporary art, literature, and music in Brandenburg. She also worked on projects as a freelance graphic designer.<\/p>\n<div class=\"more-block\">\n<p>During an internship at the Goldrausch K\u00fcnstlerinnenprojekt, she was able to deepen her knowledge of public relations.
